Trump is demanding schools reopen, tweeting today: ‘In Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and many other countries, SCHOOLS ARE OPEN WITH NO PROBLEMS.’ Washington Post columnist Brian Klaas pointed out the key difference between the U.S. and those countries. In a second tweet, Klaas added that even when adjusted for differences in population, the U.S. number of new infections is about 50x that of Germany.
